Jessie Baugher benefit          Send a link to a friend

[MARCH 23, 2005]  MASON CITY -- A benefit for the family of Jessie Baugher will be April 2, beginning at 11 a.m., at Illini Central High School.

Jessie is the 5-year-old daughter of Reggie and Nancy Baugher of Mason City. In November of 2004, Jessie underwent surgery to remove a tumor in her spinal cord. This was later diagnosed as glioneuronal cancer. Because the surgery left Jessie temporarily unable to walk, she has extensive physical therapy. Along with therapy, she now has begun chemotherapy treatments.

The cost for the meal is donation only.

  • 12:30 p.m. -- "All-star" basketball game with contests in high school gym
