ATLANTA -- Brenda Kay Spivey
Lovin, 55, of Atlanta, died Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at 5:55
a.m. at her home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7
p.m. Thursday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in
Lincoln.
Her funeral will be at 1 p.m.
Friday at the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Lincoln, with the Rev.
Oscar Owens officiating.
Burial will be in Zion
Cemetery, Lincoln.
She formerly worked at Lincoln
Developmental Center as a technician.
She was born Sept. 18, 1949,
at Mount Vernon to Charles Edward and Mary Imogene Lovin.
She is survived by her mother,
of Atlanta; one son, Danny Tungate of Lincoln; one daughter,
Brenda (and Mike) Garcia of Oklahoma; three grandchildren; one
sister, Barbara (and Bobby) Cisco of Atlanta; and several
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by
her father, one brother and her grandparents.
She was a member of the Full
Gospel Tabernacle in Lincoln.
She had been a dialysis center
patient for several years.
Memorials may be given to her
mother, Mary Imogene Lovin.

Hope Klockenga

LINCOLN -- Hope Klockenga, 81,
died Monday, March 21, 2005, at 8 a.m. at the Christian
Village.
Visitation was on Tuesday at Lincoln Christian Church. Her funeral was Wednesday
morning at the church, with Tom Gerdts
officiating.
Burial is in Union
Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled
by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Mrs. Klockenga retired from
the Christian Village, where she was employed for 37 years.
She worked as an aide and clerk.
She was born April 28, 1923,
at Elkhart to Charles and Jessie DeFrates Sloan. She married
Wendell Klockenga on Feb. 17, 1945, Lincoln. He died Nov. 21,
2004.
She is survived by two sons,
Bud (and Bonnie) Klockenga of Dix, Donald E. (and Janis)
Klockenga of Lincoln; five grandchildren, Wendy, Jennifer,
John, Kary and Kristin; six great-grandchildren; two brothers,
Stephen Edward Sloan of Hartsburg and Charles Hepburn Sloan
Jr. of Lincoln; and three sisters, Gladys Aper, Evelyn Logan
and Helen Singley, all of Lincoln.
She was also preceded in death
by two sisters, Helena "Sis" Hurley and Margaret Newberry, and
one brother, Robert Franklin Sloan.
She was a member of Lincoln
Christian Church.
Memorials may be made to
Lincoln Christian Church, Lincoln Christian College
Scholarship Fund, the Christian Village or Hospice Care of
Illinois.

SPRINGFIELD -- Patsy L.
Skelton, 53, of Middletown died Sunday, March 20, 2005, at
12:25 a.m. at St. John's Hospice in Springfield.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8
p.m. Wednesday at Holland and Barry Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral
home, with Chad Ragsdale officiating.
Burial will be in Irish Grove
Cemetery, Middletown.
She worked at Precision
Products in Lincoln.
She was born Oct. 31, 1951, in
Springfield to Richard Raymond and Mabel Wilson Skelton.
She is survived by her mother,
of Middletown; two sons, Shaun Skelton of Middletown and Ryan
Skelton of Highland; one daughter, Jena Donnan of Marshall;
her companion of 25 years, Steve "Zip" Donnan of Marshall; one
granddaughter, Kayden Marie Skelton of Highland; two
grandsons, Nicholas and Brecken Skelton of Highland; five
brothers, Richard Skelton of Lincoln, Joe Skelton of Lincoln,
Billy Skelton of Bloomington, Rusty Skelton of Middletown and
Tim Skelton of Mason City; and 11 sisters, Ruth Ann Hoffert of
Middletown, Jackie Poole of Mason City, Jenny Stout of
Middletown, Dee Baker of Middletown, Kelly Hoffert of
Middletown, Debbie Frakes of Middletown, Cheryl Himes of
Bloomington, Carol Renfro of Middletown, Sybby Liesman of
Middletown, Kasey Brooks of Missouri and Sharon Marcum of
Seattle, Wash.
She was preceded in death by
her father and two brothers, James "Pip" and Jerry Skelton.

SPRINGFIELD -- Ronald C.
Taylor, 72, formerly of Mount Pulaski, Lincoln and
Shelbyville, died Sunday, March 20, 2005, at 10:20 a.m. at his
home in Springfield.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7
p.m. Wednesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in
Lincoln. His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the
funeral home, with Tom Gerdts officiating.
Burial will be in New Union
Cemetery, Lincoln.
Mr. Taylor owned and operated
a Culligan water dealership in Shelbyville from 1969 to 1981
and in Mount Pulaski from 1989 to 1997 and was semiretired
until 2004.
He was born April 5, 1932, in
Oak Park to Franklin Sylvester and Ivy Marion Beard Taylor. He
marred Donna Jane Ritchhart on July 11, 1952, in Lincoln.
He is survived by his wife, of
Springfield; his mother, of Lincoln; two sons, Rick L. (and
Pam) Taylor of Greenville and Stephen D. (and Melanie) Taylor
of Hot Springs, Ark.; two daughters, Rhonda L. (and Mark)
Camfield of Granger, Ind., and Lisa A. (and Michael) Mills of
Ocala, Fla.; one sister, Bonnita J. Nichols of Fairhope, Ala.;
and one brother, Gerald D. (and Shirley) Taylor of San Jose;
eight grandchildren, Sara (and Scott) Eyman, Jeromie (and
Melinda) Taylor, Jamie (and Aaron) Bennett, David Camfield,
and Amanda, Adam, Derek and Dylan Taylor; five
stepgrandchildren, Tony (and Tammy) Young, Tyler Young,
Bradley Young, Leslie Mills (and fiancé Kyle) and David Mills;
five great-grandchildren, Brandon Taylor, Kendra and Iiannaii
Bennett, Madisyn and Reganne Eyman; and two
step-great-grandchildren, Ashley and Allison Young.
He was preceded in death by
his father, Franklin, in 1972.
He was a member of Lincoln
Christian Church.
He graduated from Pekin High
School in 1950.

BLOOMINGTON -- Kenneth E.
Fuller, 91, of Bloomington, formerly of Lincoln, died
Saturday, March 19, 2005, at 9:20 a.m. at BroMenn Hospital,
Normal.
Mr. Fuller donated his body to
medical science.
A private family service will
be at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled
by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Mr. Fuller owned and operated
Fuller Seed Company from 1940 to 1983.
He was born April 25, 1913, at
Weiser, Idaho, to Frank E. and Ruth Plumb Fuller. He married
Marjorie Banks on March 5, 1939, in Champaign.
He is survived by his wife, of
Bloomington; one son, John (and Marian) Fuller of Littleton,
Colo.; two daughters, Mary Ruth (and Gary) Myers of Bluemont,
Va., and Jo Ann Duncan of Bloomington; five grandchildren,
Marilyn Humphrey, Brad Myers, Leigh Johnson, Christopher
Fuller and Randal Lohrenz; and seven great-grandchildren.
Two sons, Kenson B. Fuller and
George W. Fuller, preceded him in death.
He was a member of the First
United Methodist Church of Normal. He had been president of
the United Methodist Church of Lincoln board, a member of
Lincoln Elks Club 914 and Lincoln Rotary, and was active
throughout the Lincoln community.
He was Lincoln Courier Man of
the Month in the mid-1960s.
He had been a licensed amateur
radio operator since 1932.
He was a graduate of the
University of Illinois in agricultural engineering, a member
of the Gamma Sigma Delta honorary fraternity for agriculture
and the University of Illinois Alumni Association, and was an
avid Illini fan.
His many life lessons will be
long remembered by his children, grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.

LINCOLN -- Anne Brown,
formerly of New Holland, died Saturday, March 19, 2005, at
7:25 a.m. at St. Clara's Manor.
Her funeral was
Wednesday morning at Holland and Barry Funeral Home in Lincoln, with
the Rev. Dymann L. Jirovec officiating. Visitation preceded the service.
Burial is in Richmond
Grove Cemetery, New Holland.
Mrs. Brown was the
postmistress in Easton the last nine years before she retired.
She previously worked at the post office and bank in New
Holland. She had also worked in Lincoln at Kreske and at the
Stetson China Factory, where she hand-painted china for a
number of years.
She was born Nov. 2, 1924, at
New Holland to Fritz and Mabel M. Erdman Harnacke. She married
Harlan Brown on Aug. 5, 1941. He died Aug. 22, 1974.
She is survived by one sister,
Donna Maaks of Bloomington; one aunt, Esther Johnson of
Lincoln; cousins, nieces and nephews; and special neighbors
Joe Funk and Ron Waldron of New Holland.
She was a member of Zion
Lutheran Church of New Holland, a graduate of New Holland High
School and lived in New Holland all her life until her
husband's death.
In lieu of flowers, memorials
may be made to Zion Lutheran Church of New Holland, the New
Holland Rescue Squad, Central Illinois Hospice air mattress
