[MAY 4, 2005]  NORMAL -- The Illinois State Athletics Hall of Fame 2005 class is small in numbers but mighty in accomplishments, as it consists of Kevin Bracken of Burbank, a U.S. Olympian in Greco-Roman wrestling and the all-time winningest wrestler in ISU history; Jodi Burch of Freeport, Texas, the Redbirds' first softball all-American and one of ISU's most dominant pitchers of all time; and Dr. Linda Herman from Valparaiso, Ind., an athletic administrator with over 25 years of experience at Illinois State, including most recently serving as the interim director of athletics.

Along with the Hall of Fame class, longtime statistician Dan Winberry will also be honored with the Campbell "Stretch" Miller Award.

This group will officially be inducted during the Hall of Fame banquet at 7 p.m., on Sept. 23 at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in Bloomington. The four honorees will also be recognized during halftime of the Illinois State-Murray State football game on Sept. 24.

Tickets for the Hall of Fame ceremony are $25 per person and can be purchased through The Redbird Club office. To order tickets for the event or for more information, please call Anne Campbell at (309) 438-3803.
