MANITO -- Lonnie "Lon" Richard
Allen, 54, of Manito died Thursday, May 26, 2005, at 12:38
a.m. at Pekin Hospital, Pekin.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7
p.m. Tuesday at Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City. A service
will follow at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Robert Paddack
officiating.
Mr. Allen was a machinist at
Caterpillar in East Peoria. He retired in 2001 after 31½
years with the company.
He served in the National Guard from 1970-1974.
He was born Dec. 27, 1950, in Springfield to Richard E. and
Shirley Jean Davis Allen. He married Linda Charles on Oct. 28,
1978, in Lincoln.
He is survived by his wife, in Manito; one sister, Bonnie
(and Dave) Knieriem of Mason City; and two nephews, Scott
Anthony Starr (and daughter Heaven) of Mason City and Kent
Allen Starr of Mason City.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was a member of the First Christian Church of Mason
City, UAW Local 974, NRA, ABATE, Antique Motorcycle
Association of America and Greenpeace.
He was an avid Harley rider and enjoyed target shooting.

his name through CEFCU, 3515 Court St., Pekin.

MOUNT PULASKI -- Clifford L.
Leimbach, 93, of Mount Pulaski died Wednesday, May 25, 2005,
at 9:45 a.m. in Springfield.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7
p.m. Friday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount
Pulaski.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m.
Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church in Mount Pulaski, with the
Rev. Joel Cluver officiating.
Burial will be in Randolph
Cemetery, Kenney.
Mr. Leimbach was a banker at
the State Bank of Chestnut for 40 years and the First National
Bank in Mount Pulaski for 12 years, as well as a lifelong
farmer in the Chestnut area. He was also a licensed real
estate and insurance broker.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of
World War II and served in the Philippines and the U.S.
Occupation of Japan.
He was born Nov. 22, 1911, at
Chestnut to Louis and Carrie Stoll Leimbach. He married Nellie
E. Randolph in Lincoln of July 17, 1938.
He is survived by his wife, of
Mount Pulaski; two daughters, Delores "Dee" (and Dennis)
McCauley of Springfield and Deborah E. (and David) Hamilton of
Lithia, Fla.; one son, Daniel (and Deborah) Leimbach of
Glastonbury, Conn.; six grandchildren; and one brother,
Cleatus Leimbach of Santa Claus, Ind.
He was a member of Zion
Lutheran Church in Mount Pulaski and a former member of Zion
Lutheran Church in Chestnut, where he served as treasurer. He
was also a member of Mount Pulaski Rotary, Mount Pulaski Lions
Club, Mount Pulaski American Legion Post 777, Chestnut Men's
Club, Chestnut Volunteer Fire Department and Logan County Farm
Bureau.
He served on the school board
in Chestnut, on the Randolph Cemetery board and was treasurer
for the Logan County Red Cross for many years.
Memorials may be made to his
church, Chestnut Fire and Rescue, and Mount Pulaski Fire and
Rescue.

LINCOLN -- Dallas D. Reinhart,
76, of Lincoln died Wednesday, May 25, 2005, at 4:31 a.m. at
Maple Ridge Care Centre.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7
p.m. Friday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in
Lincoln. There will be a prayer service at 4 p.m.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m.
Saturday at Holy Family Church, with the Rev. R. Anthony Lee
officiating.
Burial, with military rites,
will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mr. Reinhart retired from the
Illinois Secretary of State Driver’s License Bureau in
Lincoln. He worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture for
20 years.
He served in the U.S. Army
during the Korean War.
He was born April 9, 1929, in
Lincoln, to Henry and Leta Linton Reinhart. He married Dorothy
Higgins in Lincoln on June 2, 1951.
He is survived by his wife, of
Lincoln; one son, Jim (and Jessica) Reinhart of Springfield;
three daughters, Linda (and James) Snyder of Lincoln, Diane
Reinhart of Springfield and Debra (and Tim) Kelley of Lincoln;
five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one sister,
Marlene (and C. Wayne) Schrader of Lincoln.
He was preceded in death by
his parents.
He was a member of Holy Family
Church, Legion Post 263, VFW and Moose Lodge 1441.
Memorials may be made to Maple
Ridge Care Centre or Carroll Catholic School.

LINCOLN -- Robert Allen Scott, 79, of Lincoln died Tuesday,
May 24, 2005, at 12:40 p.m. at St. John's Hospice in
Springfield.
Visitation will be from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. His funeral
will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry
Maffett officiating.
Burial will be in Irving Park Cemetery, Chicago.
Mr. Scott worked in inside sides for Nationwide Papers,
Bloomingdale.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was born Feb. 7, 1926, in Chicago to Clifford Allen and
Mabel Frey Scott. He married Lana Lee in Chicago on July 1,
1972.
He is survived by his wife, of Lincoln; three sons,
Clifford Allen (and Brenda) Scott of Lincoln, James
Christopher (and Kathy) Scott of Antioch and Timothy Robin
Scott of South Bend Ind.; six grandchildren, two
great-grandchildren, and one sister, Patricia Tobey of Tucson,
Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marianne.
Memorials may be made to Prairie Heart Institute,
Springfield.
