Memorial Day Weekend, 2005

This holiday issue of LDN is dedicated to Staff Sgt. Daniel G. Gresham.  Twenty three-year-old Sgt. Gresham of Lincoln lost his life in an explosion in Iraq on Feb. 24.

He was with the 797th Ordnance Company (Explosive Ordnance Disposal), 79th Ordnance Battalion, 52nd Ordnance, Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with his family and friends.

A memorial service was held in his honor on March 12 at All Veterans Park
