LCC to host 2006 Acordia Volleyball Challenge

[NOV. 30, 2005]  The next Acordia Volleyball Challenge will be hosted by Lincoln Christian College Sept. 1-2, 2006. Kevin Crawford, LCC athletic director and women's volleyball coach, announced the field of teams today that will compete in the event at the Laughlin Center.

All the teams are members of the National Christian College Athletic Association. With the field that has been assembled, it should be one of the most competitive tournaments in years. The teams have combined for eight national championships, won over 50 regional championships, have made 56 national championship appearances and have had over 100 all-Americans in the NCCAA.

Teams that have committed to participate in the tournament are Baptist Bible College from Pennsylvania, Grace Bible College from Michigan, Grace University from Nebraska, Maranatha Baptist Bible College from Wisconsin, Moody Bible College in Illinois, Manhattan Christian College from Kansas, Northland Baptist Bible College from Wisconsin and Lincoln Christian College.
