Berkshire receives McCarthy Scholarship at Lincoln College      

[SEPT. 28, 2005]  Lisa Berkshire, daughter of Randy and Dana Berkshire of Lincoln, is this year's recipient of the Anna Hayes McCarthy Memorial Scholarship at Lincoln College.

Berkshire, a 2004 graduate of Lincoln Community High School, is studying English. She plans to continue her education at a four-year university after completing her associate degree at Lincoln College.

The Anna Hayes McCarthy Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a graduate of good academic standing from a surrounding county high school. It is given in memory of Anna Hayes McCarthy, of the Lincoln College class of 1915.
