Hoyt receives Edwards Scholarship at Lincoln College

[SEPT. 28, 2005]  Lincoln College sophomore Ryan Hoyt, son of John and Maria Hoyt of Lincoln, has been awarded the Robert D. Edwards Family Memorial Scholarship at Lincoln College.

Hoyt, a 2002 graduate of Lincoln Community High School, is currently studying general education courses and plans to continue his education at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale after earning an associate degree at Lincoln College. He plans to major in business administration.

He was listed on the fall 2004 and spring 2005 dean's list and is active with the men’s soccer team.

The Robert D. Edwards Family Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student who shows academic potential and expresses an interest in studying business. The award is in memory of former Lincoln College trustee Robert D. Edwards and is made possible by his wife, Shirley Edwards, and their family.
