Sebeny receives Walker Layman Scholarship at Lincoln College          Send a link to a friend

[SEPT. 28, 2005]  Lincoln College sophomore Joshua Sebeny is this year's recipient of the Wilbur Layman and Louise Walker Layman Scholarship.

Sebeny, a 2004 Lincoln Community High School graduate, is taking liberal arts courses at Lincoln College. He is active in theater and plans to continue his education in theater and dramatic arts. He was named to the fall 2004 dean's list.

He is the son of Delmar and Dawn Nadeau of Lincoln.

The Wilbur Layman and Louise Walker Layman Scholarship, established in their memory, is awarded each year to an outstanding performing arts student. Wilbur Layman graduated from Lincoln College in 1927 and later served on the college's board of trustees.
