A graveside service, as she
requested, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Oak View
Cemetery, rural Armington. Minister Ed Loyd of the
Armington Christian Church will officiate.
Quiram Funeral Home, Atlanta, is
handling arrangements.
Miss Pratt worked as both a teacher
at Stanford Grade School and as a librarian at
Lincoln, Fairbury and Mackinaw.
She was born Feb. 9, 1930, in
Bloomington to Kobert James and Mary Louise Darnell
Pratt.
She is survived by one brother,
Robert N. (Sharon) Pratt of Armington; six nieces
and nephews, Landis Pratt of Bloomington, Jed and
Spencer Pratt of Armington, Vivian (and John)
Anderson of
Dawson, Robert J. (and Ellen) Pratt
of Hershey, Pa., and Kay (and Jim) Tapscott,
Decatur; three great-nephews; and three
great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her
parents and one brother, Joe D. Pratt.
She resided in Armington most of her
life and graduated from Armington High School in
1948. She received a bachelor's degree in English
from Eureka College.
She was of Christian faith and a
member of the Armington Christian Church.
