Home, Lincoln.
Mrs. Hembreiker was a retired florist.
She was born Jan. 26, 1909, in Lincoln to Samuel
and Sara Jane Maltby Sparks Sr. She married Everett
Hembreiker on Oct. 14, 1934, in Lincoln. He died
Oct. 7, 1993.
She is survived by one daughter, Carol Jean (and
Darrell) Leimbach of Chestnut; one granddaughter,
Valerie (and George) Davis of Lincoln; and two
great-grandchildren, Ashley Lee of Indianapolis,
Ind., and Jason Lee of Lincoln.
She was also preceded in death by one grandson,
Greg Leimbach; one sister; four half brothers; and
one half sister.
She was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority at
Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington.
