M. Caroline Domme

[AUG. 21, 2006]  M. Caroline Domme, 93, formerly of Kinsley, Kansas, died Aug. 9, 2006, at 4:05 a.m. at the Christian Village in Lincoln.

Cremation rites will be accorded. There is no visitation.

At a later date there will be a service at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Kinsley, Kan., with Father Nicanor Serangco officiating. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery.

Local arrangements are by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Mrs. Domme was a retired housekeeper and baby-sitter.

She was born July 13, 1913, at Kinsley, Kan., to Henry and Teresa Schinstock Alering. She married Michael John Domme on June 16, 1936, at Kinsley. He died Nov. 4, 1988.

She is survived by three sons, Michael (and Judy) Domme of Quincy, Ronald (and Lynn) Domme of Banning, Calif., and Thomas (and Lupe) Domme of Loveland, Colo.; one sister, Rosaline Schaller of Kinsley, Kan.; 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, two sisters and a daughter-in-law.

She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church of Kinsley, Kan., and a 48-year charter member of the Daughters of Isabella.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of Illinois or the Christian Village.
