Dear Editor: This summer several of us got together, and with help
from area organizations and businesses, we got our old town flagpole
painted, landscaped and a new flag put up.
Thanks to John and Jo Ann Allen for the donation of the
landscaping supplies. Thanks to Oran Township trustee Randy Wolf for
the donation of the paint for the flagpole. Thanks to Albert
Brothers in Lincoln for the use of your truck so we could reach up
to get the higher parts of the pole painted. To Darrel White and the
American Legion in Lincoln, thank you very much for your donation of
the large flag for our pole. It looks wonderful.
To all the Beason residents that showed up over the summer to
help out with getting the job done... thank you!
Let us remember how important that flag is to us.
Heather Fuller
