Thursday basketball results from regional at LCC

The Lincoln
Christian College men's basketball team played
Maranatha Baptist on Thursday to begin the Midwest Regional Tip-Off
at the Laughlin Center. In later games Thursday, Grace played Emmaus and
Northland played Moody.

LCC coach Matt Clark said: "We attacked well, but we just didn't shoot
well tonight, as evidenced by the very poor 3-point shooting
percentage (19%). When we were down 14 and put the press on them in
the second half, we came back and tied it at 56-56. From then on
their free throws did us in."
