Warrensburg-Latham girls advance to third-place game in eighth-grade
state tournament

CLINTON -- In eighth-grade state
basketball tournament action on Saturday at Clinton Junior
High School, the Warrensburg-Latham girls defeated Pleasant Plains
38-34 before losing 47-21 to Petersburg PORTA. The Cardinals advance
to the third-place game against Bushnell-Prairie City at 6 p.m.
Thursday.
