[DEC. 29, 2006]  LINCOLN – Beginning with the new year, the Central Illinois Economic Development Corporation will change its hours of operation. CIEDC, a Community Action agency, will be open from 8:00am – noon and 1:00pm- 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Previously, CIEDC was open through the lunch hour.

All outreach offices and the corporate headquarters will begin to observe the new hours of operation on January 2nd. The change comes as an effort to provide consistent services during business hours at all offices throughout the six county service area. From noon to one, all offices will be closed.

“While we will continue our Logan and Mason County Senior Nutrition and Senior Transportation services through the noon hour, the offices will not be open to the public from noon to one,” said CIEDC Executive Director, Angela Stoltzenburg. “We will continue to provide high quality services to all of our customers,” said Stoltzenburg.
CIEDC, a Community Action agency, serves the low-income, seniors, disabled and children of Logan, Mason, Menard, Piatt, Fulton and DeWitt Counties. CIEDC manages a variety of programs including Head Start, the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, food pantries and more.
