Kathryn Opperman, Zion Lutheran School spelling
bee champion, will represent the Lincoln school in the Logan County
Spelling Bee on Feb. 22. Kathryn, an eighth-grader, is the daughter
of David and Stephanie Opperman of Lincoln.

The runner-up was seventh-grader Trevor Arrington of Lincoln.
Trevor's parents are Robert and Shawn Cox.
Also participating in
the school spelling bee were Raeann Sheley, Billy Campbell, Bethany
Last, Matthew Schierer, Kayla Huskins, Grace Sheley, Christian
Carnahan, Kathryn Arneaud and Austin Leonard.
