Angels defeat Fontbonne

The Lincoln Christian College Angels came from
behind in the last minute and 30 seconds to defeat the Griffins of
Fontbonne University 58-53 at Lincoln. After trailing throughout the
game, the Angels took a 52-51 lead and outscored Fontbonne 6-2 from
that point on.

Lincoln, 6-6, was led by Katie Geisler with 16 points and 19
rebounds. The balance of the scoring was evenly divided among eight
other players. Fontbonne University, 3-8, was led in scoring by
Kristin Chamberlain and Hilary Barkley with 11 points each.
The Angels outrebounded the Griffins 57-40.
Lincoln next plays at home Saturday against Stephens College.
