'The Power of People' second Global Symposium

[JAN. 21, 2006]  LUCKNOW CITY, India -- Global Partnership for World Democracy hosted the second Global Symposium at Lucknow City in December. Nearly 250 participants from 102 countries participated. The Global Symposium recognized "The Power of People" to move and reform governments and corporate structures to create global sustainability.

The objective of the Global Partnership for World Democracy was to facilitate the Global Campaign for World Democracy, a campaign that was formally launched at the symposium. The various participating organizations will work to evolve the Global Action Agenda from now till 2007.
