Larry Hertzfeldt

[JULY 5, 2006]  CHESTNUT -- Larry A. Hertzfeldt, 54, of Chestnut, formerly of Mount Pulaski, died July 4, 2006, at his home.

His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church.

Burial will be in New Union Cemetery, Lincoln.

Holland and Barry Funeral Home in Lincoln is handling arrangements.

Mr. Hertzfeldt worked at Stahl's Implement from 1971 until 1988 and then for Cross Brothers Implement from 1988 until the present. He served many farmers in the area of Logan County, Springfield, Bloomington and Decatur.

He was born Feb. 10, 1952, in Lincoln, to Victor and Era Cook Hertzfeldt.

Survivors include his brother and best friend, Eldon Hertzfeldt of Chestnut, with whom he resided, and his aunt, Helena Klockenga of Lincoln.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and the outdoors.

Memorial donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln.
