Burial is in Holy Cross Cemetery, Lincoln. Mrs.
Rutherford had been a building supervisor at Lincoln
Developmental Center.
She was born May 4, 1935, at Illiopolis to Leslie
Gene and Martha Ann Rogers Anderson. She married
Adrian Rutherford in Dixon in 1955, and he died in
1968.
She is survived by one son, Robert (and Paula)
Rutherford of Lincoln; four sisters, Opal Johnson of
Pekin, Linda Wood of Springfield, Rosella (and A.J.)
Spreen of Jacksonville and Lillian Bailey of Maroa;
and three grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers
and one sister.
She was of the Christian faith.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude's
Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
