Marvin Leesman

[JULY 31, 2006]  Marvin G. Leesman, 88, of Lincoln died Sunday, July 30, 2006, at 4:30 a.m. at his home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Lincoln. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. at the church, with the Rev. Phillip Blackburn officiating.

Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at New Union Cemetery.

Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln is handling arrangements.

Mr. Leesman retired from Albert Brothers Construction in 1980.

He was born June 18, 1918, at Hartsburg to Joseph and Frances Klockenga Leesman. He married Lois Wilson on Oct. 2, 1948, in Lincoln.

He is survived by his wife, of Lincoln; two sons, Keith (and Charlise) Leesman of Lincoln and Kevin Leesman of Lincoln; one brother, Wilbur (and Lila) Leesman of Hartsburg; two grandchildren, Jonathan (and Dana) Leesman of Webster Groves, Mo., and Jeff (and Jennifer) Leesman of Streamwood; and one great-grandson, Keegan Leesman of Webster Groves, Mo.

Two brothers preceded him in death.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lincoln.

Memorials may be given to his church or to the donor's choice.
