To the editor: I would like to thank everybody that participated
in last weekend's softball tournament at the Rec. We had three
different tournaments and 17 teams on Saturday alone.
We had many compliments on our facility. Thank you to the
taxpayers of Lincoln and for the Rec board and to the Pony
Association for these fields. Without you and the GIRLS, this event
would not have happened.
Thank you to the girls that played their best, although it was a
hot one. All of them did an awesome job.
Thank you to the coaches. You all did a great job. Keep up the
good work.
Thank you to all of the umpires that worked a long day. You all
did a great job. As the new season starts with new rules, sometimes
the first few games can be a trial, but you all took the time and
made efforts to help the coaches with the rules, and for that we are
very grateful for your patience.

To Mr. and Mrs. Gary Nodine, Mrs. Diane Coop, Mr. Dean Colby, and
Mr. Jerry Pagel with their help in organizing and concessions, we
thank you. You all are awesome.
Thank you to those parents that volunteered to help this weekend
go smoothly.
And last but not least, thank you to Mr. Eric Bell for his
dedication to the leagues. He was there when questions and concerns
arouse throughout the tournaments, and he did a great job in every
effort.
If I am forgetting anybody, I do apologize, and I thank EVERYBODY
for a great start to the summer season.
