[JUNE 30, 2006]  ATLANTA -- June L. McIntosh, 79, of Atlanta, died Monday, June 26, 2006, at 12:15 a.m. at her home.

Her body was cremated.

A graveside service was at 10 a.m. Thursday at Atlanta Cemetery, with Kurt Flora officiating. Military rites were conducted by the Waynesvllle American Legion.

There was no visitation.

Quiram Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. McIntosh was a homemaker.

She served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

She was born Sept. 12, 1926, at Santa Barbara, Calif., to Walter and Hazel Goedke McGill. She married William. H. McIntosh on Oct. 11, 1942, at Kahoka, Mo. He died April 27, 1998.

She is survived by one daughter, Marie Mealman of Atlanta; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, James McIntosh; one daughter, Ellen Wallner; and one granddaughter, Miranda Park.

Memorials may be made to the Atlanta Rescue Squad.
