  • Hartsburg-Emden def. Lexington 22-20, 21-11.
    Hartsburg-Emden record is now 23-0.

Sectional 11 at Mount Pulaski

  • Mount Pulaski def. Chester-East Lincoln 14-21, 21-12, 21-16.
    Mount Pulaski record is now 16-9.

Class 7AA sectional champions

Sectional 7 at Farmington Central

  • Easton Illini Central def. Canton Ingersoll 21-10, 21-19.
    Easton Illini Central record is now 20-2.

Sectional 9 at Normal Chiddix

  • Stanford Olympia def. Bloomington Junior High School 15-21, 21-19, 21-16.
    Stanford Olympia record now 20-2.

Class 7A state tournament matchups

First round, Saturday
At Hartsburg-Emden High School

  • 3 p.m. -- Hartsburg-Emden, 23-0, vs. Grayville, 15-5
  • 4:15 p.m. -- Mount Pulaski, 16-9, vs. St. Elmo, 21-2

If Hartsburg-Emden or Mount Pulaski wins, they will play in the quarterfinals at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Class 7AA state tournament matchups

First round, Saturday
At Bloomington Junior High School

  • 11:15 a.m. -- Jacksonville Turner, 19-1, vs. Stanford Olympia, 20-2

If Olympia wins, they will play in the quarterfinals at 3 p.m. Saturday at Bloomington Junior High School.

  • 1:45 p.m. -- Easton Illini Central, 20-2, vs. Riverton, 19-3

If Illini Central wins, they will play in the quarterfinals at 4:15 p.m. Saturday at Bloomington Junior High School.
