Mustang League play begins          Send a link to a friend

[MAY 17, 2006]  Lincoln PONY Baseball and Softball started Mustang League play Tuesday night. In a close game with McDonald's, Nobbe Eye Care Center won 8-7.

The Nobbe team was led by Stephen Kutz and Chase Lumley, both hitting 1-for-3 with home runs; Hunter Wieber, going 1-for-2; Joey Bergman, 1-for-1; and Joey Olden and Andrew Coop, both going 1-for-3. The pitchers for NECC were Chase Lumley, Stephen Kutz, Clay Olson and Joey Olden.

McDonald's had hits from Blake Landstrom, Tyler Stankavich and Julien Kaestner. Pitchers were Matthew Langdon, Brock Bunner and Levi Curry.
