[MAY 30, 2006]  On May 12, nine CIEDC staff members from throughout the agency's service area graduated from spring training. The spring training workshop focused on maintaining high-quality customer service.

The training was themed around the idea of staff working as a team. They completed tasks such as a building a sports stadium with limited materials, role playing, observing skits and more.

The CIEDC staff members who participated in the training work with the public daily to assist with utility assistance, rental assistance, food pantry needs, All Kids applications and more.

The training was facilitated by Angela Stoltzenburg, CIEDC executive director; Kathy Shepherd, community services director; Kelly Comerford, LIHEAP assistant director; and Rick Campbell, director of weather and energy programs.

"I'm very proud of all the staff that attended and planned the day," Stoltzenburg said. "The staff members that attended were able to discuss typical scenarios and participate in helping each other find ways to improve their delivery of services. Providing our families with a high level of customer service is very important to the agency and our staff."
