 Community loses steadfast leader

Friends and colleagues of Michael "Mike" Abbott
were saddened yesterday as word spread that he had died unexpectedly
on Thursday morning. He expired of natural causes shortly after
being taken to Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
Abbott was a Lincoln native, married to Bobbi Abbott, with two grown
sons. He was active in the community and in charitable groups.
