[NOV. 4, 2006]  ATLANTA -- Donna W. Conaway, 71, of Atlanta died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006, at 7:08 p.m. at her home.

A private graveside service for Mrs. Conaway will be on Monday at the Atlanta Cemetery, rural Atlanta. Maurice Stribling will officiate.

No visitation is scheduled.

Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta is in charge of arrangements.

She was born April 11, 1935, in Omaha, Neb., to John and Mildred Snyder Hoyle. She married Dwight F. Conaway on Nov. 26, 1955, in Chicago.

She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Karen (and David) Pearce of Laural, Md., Connie Hoyle of Lincoln and Linda (and Neil) Webster of Lincoln; one sister, Audrey Oppedahl of Vero Beach, Fla.; and four grandchildren, Heather, Dennis Michael, Ricky and Nicholas.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 263 in Lincoln and was of the Christian faith.

She graduated from Simm High School in Chicago.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
