[NOV. 9, 2006]  Helen P. Polley, 77, of Lincoln, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006, at 12:30 a.m. at the Christian Village.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, following a prayer service at 4:30.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Church, with the Rev. R. Anthony Lee officiating.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Mrs. Polley retired from General Water Works, Exelon.

She was born Dec. 6, 1928, in Lincoln to John Thomas and Helen Mathein Musick. She married L. Wayne Polley on Oct. 20, 1951, in Lincoln.

She is survived by her husband, of Lincoln; three sons, Larry (and Joanne) Polley of Fenton, Mo., Randy (and Bernetta) Polley of Springfield and Rod (and Mary) Polley of Bloomington; two brothers, Thomas Musick and Robert Musick, both of Lincoln; one sister, Dorothy (and Stan) Paulis of Lincoln; five granddaughters, Rachael, Jennifer, Krista, Ellyn and Lily Polley; and one great-grandson, Hayden Harris.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Harold Musick; and three sisters, Donnabelle Carpenter, Marian Schultz and Gwendolyn Musick.

She was a member of Holy Family Church and the Rosary and Altar Society of the church.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's disease research or the Christian Village.
