[NOV. 21, 2006]  NORMAL -- Illinois State University President Dr. Al Bowman and Director of Athletics Dr. Sheahon Zenger will co-host a free tailgate party outside the southeast corner of O'Brien Stadium in Charleston on Saturday for the NCAA Division I Football Championship first-round game between the Redbirds and Eastern Illinois.

The tailgate includes lunch and will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. In addition, the ISU Athletics Department will offer a fan bus trip to the game. The price of the trip is $25 per person, which includes travel and admission to the game. Fans must register for the bus trip online at http://www.alumni.ilstu.edu/football. The deadline to register is Wednesday.

Due to the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Volleyball Championship being played at Redbird Arena, the buses will depart at 9 a.m. from lot G-73, which is the parking lot between Hancock Stadium and Main Street. The buses will arrive in Charleston in time to attend the free tailgate.
