Her body will be cremated, and there is no
visitation A graveside service will be at 10:30
a.m. Friday at Green Hill Cemetery, San Jose. Pastor
Don Hoover will officiate.
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln
is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Deterts was a homemaker.
She was born Oct. 29, 1927, at San Jose to Henry
and Mary Ann Martin Connett. Her stepfather was
Lucian Armstrong. She married Henry R. "Tubby" Wood
in 1947. Later she married Robert Deterts.
She is survived by one son, Mallon (and Terry)
Wood of Minier; a half sister, Berniece Jefford of
Bettendorf, Iowa; three grandchildren; and five
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents,
stepfather, first husband, one brother, two half
sisters and a half brother.
She was a member of Lincoln Bible Church and
Royal Neighbors.
