Charles O. Choules, 82, of Forsyth,
Mo., formerly of Lincoln, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006, at 9:04
p.m. at Piatt County Nursing Home, Monticello. |
A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln,
with Mark Hughes officiating. Masonic rites will be
conducted. Visitation will be one hour prior to the
service.
Burial, with military rites, will be in Harmony
Cemetery, Beason.
Mr. Choules owned and operated Choules Farm
Construction, Lincoln.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1945,
during World War II.
He was born June 10, 1924, at Fairview, Idaho, to
Elmer and Irene Oliverson Choules. He married Mary
Louise Forsythe on June 28, 1945, in Lincoln. She
died May 29, 1985.
He is survived by one daughter, Maralee C. Lyons
of Atwood; one son, John C. Choules of Mahomet; two
brothers, Clayne Choules of Washougal, Wash., and
Nathan Choules of Chubback, Idaho; two sisters, Ruth
Kokol of Needles, Ariz., and Helen Hill of Havasu
City, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; and one
great-grandchild.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter and
one sister.
He was a member of the Branson, Mo., Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer
Society or Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day
Saints.
