Lincoln Daily News
welcomes letters of appreciation, information and
opinion on matters pertaining to the community.
Controversial issues:
As a
community we need to be able to talk openly about
matters that affect the quality of our lives. The most
effective and least offensive manner to get your
point across is to stick to the issue and refrain from
commenting on another person's opinion. Letters that
deviate from focusing on the issue may be rejected or
edited and marked as such.

Dear Editor:
Christian Child Care Inc. would like to publicly thank the
Illinois [Independent] Order of Odd Fellows for their generosity and
support to us over the last three years in which we have occupied
their former children's home building. Because of their care and
concern, we have been able to continue to strive to fulfill our
mission of "serving families in the greater Logan County area by
providing quality, Christ-centered child care, programs and services
in a nurturing and educationally oriented environment." The
community of Lincoln should be proud to have an organization like
IOOF within our midst.
Sincerely,
Lacey Buss, director
