[OCT. 16, 2006]  ATLANTA -- Chris Henderson, 44, of Atlanta died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006, at 3:02 a.m. at Evanston Hospital, Evanston.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Monday at the home of Samuel Hoblit, 2188 1900th Ave., Atlanta.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Atlanta United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Steve Anderson officiating.

Burial will be in Atlanta Cemetery.

Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Henderson worked at the Rick Hamm State Farm Insurance Agency in Lincoln.

She was born Feb. 22, 1962, in Lincoln to Robert E. and Lynda McKown Miller. She married Gary Henderson on April 16, 1988.

She is survived by her husband; her mother, Lynda (and James) Orrick Jr. of Normal; her stepmother, Karen Miller of Lincoln; three sons, Brayden Bruner of Minier and Lucas and Jacob Henderson, both at home; two sisters, Julie (and Gary) Frantz of Atlanta and Beth (and Mark) Howard of Atlanta; two brothers, David Miller of Chicago and Stephen Orrick of Orlando, Fla.; and two granddaughters, Natalie and Julia Bruner.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Miller.

She was a member of the Atlanta United Methodist Church.

She graduated from Olympia High School in 1980.

Mrs. Henderson was a loving mother, wife and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a college fund that is being set up at the Atlanta National Bank for her two sons.
