Thomas Robinson

[OCT. 17, 2006]  Thomas Ward Robinson, 44, formerly of Lincoln, died Oct. 2, 2006, at VA Illiana Healthcare System in Danville.

Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, at Bennett Funeral Home. The service will follow at 11:30 a.m., with the Rev. Robert Henderson officiating.

Burial will be in DeWitt Cemetery, DeWitt.

Mr. Robinson was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was born Aug. 30, 1962, in Lincoln to Fred Melvin Robinson and Wilma North Robinson.

He is survived by an aunt and uncle, Russell and Pat Crutcher of DeWitt; caretakers and special friends Ed and Ruth Hurley of Lincoln; two sisters, Deborah Foster of Elkhart and Diana Fish of Lincoln; one brother, Dan Robinson of Wisconsin; a half sister, Jennifer Phillips of Petersburg; his stepmother, Roxy Robinson of Lincoln; three nieces, Brandy Fish of Wisconsin, Shanay Robinson of Petersburg and Faith Phillips of Petersburg; and six nephews, Matthew Fish of Lincoln, Quentin Fish Jaime of Lincoln, Michael Martin of Petersburg, Garrett Robinson of Petersburg, Jayden Fish of Wisconsin and Brandon Griffin of Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos.

Memorials may be made to the MS Foundation.
