Asperger syndrome group changes meeting date for October          Send a link to a friend

[SEPT. 19, 2006]  SPRINGFIELD -- Asperger Syndrome Support and Awareness of Central Illinois, a support group for people dealing with autistic spectrum disorder, is changing its next meeting date to Oct. 12. The meeting is scheduled for 7 to 9 p.m. at the University of Illinois at Springfield, CPV Building, Room CPV 153.

The group is facilitated by Karen Kirkendall, Ph.D., associate professor in the UIS Department of Psychology.

For easy access to meeting room, go to parking lot A, on the east side of the university. Turn to the right as soon as you enter the lot; then take a left when you reach the line of buildings. Go to the top of the parking lot and park. There is a pathway next to the CPV sign. Walk about 50 feet and use the first door on the right. If you get lost, call 899-2181.
