Mildred Edgemon

[April 05, 2007]  Mildred M. Edgemon, 86, of Lincoln died Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at 11:40 p.m. at St. Clara's Manor.

Her body was cremated. There will be no visitation or service.

Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Mrs. Edgemon was a homemaker and worked as a seamstress at Lincoln Sewing Center.

She was born Oct. 6, 1920, at Kell to James and Edith Marcum Beck. She married H.C. Edgemon on July 21, 1941, at Mount Vernon. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son, Larry Edgemon of Warrenton, Mo.; one daughter, Melinda (and Terry) Spangler of Lincoln; two sisters; one brother; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Joanne Hughes; three sisters; and one brother.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of Illinois.
