Proceeds go to Veterans' Dance

[April 11, 2007]  The St. John United Church of Christ Youth Group invites the public to an Italian dinner and variety show planned for April 21.

Proceeds of the evening's events go to support this year's Veterans' Dance, to be held in November. This will be the sixth year the youth group has honored all Logan County veterans with the dance and meal.

The Italian dinner will include lasagna, shells, spaghetti, salad, bread sticks, dessert and drink prepared by the young people and their parents.

Variety acts include piano, trumpet and guitar solos. Vocal acts range from a duet and small group number to the entire group singing Ken Medema's "The Tree Song."

The Italian dinner begins at 6 p.m. in the St. John Fellowship Hall. The variety show will follow the meal.
