Armed Forces Day to be celebrated with open house and book signing          Send a link to a friend

[April 14, 2007]  The Logan County Genealogical and Historical Society will mark Armed Forces Day, May 19, with an open house and book signing from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 114 N. Chicago St.

The society will feature "This Is My Story" Vol. 2. The book was published for the purpose of preserving the names and military information about Logan County veterans.  The book includes 365 pages of stories and pictures of veterans. Co-chairmen of the book project were Phyllis Bryson and Carol Radespiel. The society will also feature a book entitled "Logan County During the Civil War," by Bill Donath.
