[August 03, 2007]  On Friday, Lincoln College wrestling coach Dave Klemm announced the signing of Ryan Lamagra, a three-time state qualifier from Webster Thomas High School in Ontario, N.Y.

In the 2005 season Lamagra wrestled at 171 pounds, finishing third. The next year he wrestled in the 189 weight class, where he was the state champion for 2006. In 2007, he again went to state, where he placed second in the 189-pound weight class.

Coach Klemm says Lincoln College is happy to have an athlete of this caliber. "I think he will make an immediate impact on our program and definitely give us a presence during the national tournament," said Klemm.

Lamagra will wrestle at the 184 weight class for the Lynx.

He is the son of Dan and Tara Patterson of Ontario, N.Y.
