[August 07, 2007]  NORMAL -- Illinois State head football coach Denver Johnson and Radio Bloomington personalities will host "Tacklin' Football III," a ladies-only football clinic, at the Kaufman Football Building on Aug. 21, from 6 to 9 p.m.

The clinic is completely free, but enrollment is limited to only 125. To learn more about the game of football, register online at www.wjbc.com. Space is limited, and the first 100 women to register will receive a complimentary souvenir T-shirt.

"I have really enjoyed this clinic over the years," Johnson said. "We try to keep it light and fun, but also meet the needs of the audience. We will cover everything from spectator to participant. In the past, we have had women attend the event that want to know more about the game so they can enjoy with their husbands or friends. We also have had a lot of single moms who have a son on a club or high school team, and they just want to be more involved in their lives."

In addition to breaking down the game of football, dinner will be provided, compliments of Subway. Other sponsors of the event are Smoothie King and Backyard Pool and Patio.
