[August 09, 2007]  Wednesday night the Lincoln American Legion Post 263 hosted a banquet honoring the players on the 2007 junior and senior teams. The players on the junior team were honored and recognized with certificates. The senior team was then honored with certificates and annual awards.

The first awards of the night were awarded to Gary Rademaker and Jeremy Moore. They each received the C. Wayne Schrader Award for 2007. This award is given to the players who show outstanding representation, leadership and the values that best reflect the goals of Lincoln American Legion baseball. This award is voted on by a group of members of Post 263.

The next awards were given to Cody Aughton, Kyle Hower and Clark Schoonover, who shared this year's most valuable player award. This award is voted on by the players.

The last presentation was the district championship plaque, presented by the senior team to the Post 263 commander.
