Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at
Summers-Kistler Funeral Home, 925 S. Main in Clay
City. Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the
funeral home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery,
Flora.
There will be a gathering for family and friends
at Reggie Senters' house, 1220 Austin in Flora,
following the service on Saturday.
Mrs. Atteberry was a proud bartender at the
Hitching Post and Silver Dollar in St. Louis for
seven years and at the Coral Lounge in Clinton for
several years. She also worked at Kathryn Beich
Candy in Bloomington and at Kex in Olney.
She was born June 20, 1923, in East Alton to Fred
Leon and Claris Amilia Robinson Senters. She married
Leo Atteberry, and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, Dan (and wife Kathy)
Senters of Waynesville; five brothers, Pat (and Anne
Marie) Senters of Drain, Ore., Rolla (and Donna)
Senters of LeRoy, Reggie (and Glenda) Senters of
Flora, Dave (and Sally) Senters of Xenia and Sam
(and Jane) Senters of Flora; one sister, Margie
Descaro of Forsyth; a son-in-law, Dick Marshall of
Clinton; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren;
and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Jess,
Gene, Joe, Jack and Freddie Senters; one sister,
Annie Ruth Senters; and one daughter, Barb Marshall.
She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
