 In the first game, WL-B spotted SLF five runs in the first inning
and had to play catch-up the rest of the game, losing 11-5.Hayden
Matson, Dane Eimer and Chanse Hoagland had hits that produced runs
for WL-B.
Jordan Yarcho (0-1) took the loss on the mound, pitching five
innings.
In the second game, the Wolverines again let SLF get out in
front, 9-4, after the first inning. Coming from behind, WL-B pulled
ahead, only to relinquish the lead, ending in an 11-11 tie.
Levi Curry had two doubles and knocked in four runs for WL-B. Sam
Tiffany had a hit, a run scored and two RBIs. Alex Bender had a hit,
a run scored and an RBI. And, Josh Cale had a hit and an RBI.
Zach Schleder had five strikeouts in three innings on the mound.
WL-B hosts Mount Pulaski at Miller Field on Thursday at 4:15 p.m.
