She died Aug. 5, 2007, at 10:55 a.m. at the
Christian Village. Holland Barry and Bennett
Funeral Home in Lincoln is handling arrangements.
She was a retired caretaker at Spoon River Towers
in Lewistown.
She was born Sept. 4, 1936, in Canton to John K.
and Dorothy M Bentzel Johnson.
She is survived by two daughters, Ruth Todd of
Springfield and Joyce Dancy of Lincoln; one brother,
John C. Johnson of Aurora; two sisters, Dorothy
Eskridge of Canton and Ruth Mitchell of Kirkwood.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be made to Lincoln Christian Church
or Christian Village.
