Agriculture Futures End Mixed          Send a link to a friend

[August 25, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures finished mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 3 cents to close at $7.42 a bushel; December corn fell 3.25 cents to $3.5875 a bushel; December oats fell 0.75 cent to $2.575 a bushel; November soybeans jumped 6.75 cents to $8.65 a bushel.

Beef futures climbed, while pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle rose 0.97 cent to close at 97.82 cents a pound; September feeder cattle rose 0.73 to $1.1805 a pound; October lean hogs rose 2.18 cents to 70.65 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell 0.82 cent to 93.2 cents a pound.
