Weather        Road Conditions

Crowds were believed to be a little shy due to the threat of severe weather at last night's opening Balloon Festival at the Logan County Airport.

Balloons did not launch and the glow was moved up in time.  Luckily, nothing more than a few rain drops fell until well after the glow was over.

Remaining crowds ducked under awnings and tents and visited.

If you are wondering if the balloons will fly this evening you can tune into the Atlanta radio station, WLCN, 96.3 FM. Beginning at 5 p.m. they will be broadcasting from Heritage in Flight Museum hangar, site of the pilot briefing (click here for more pictures).
