[December 03, 2007]  MOUNT PULASKI -- Lee Cooper, 64, of Mount Pulaski, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2007, at 7:01 p.m. at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski.

His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Pulaski Zion Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Mark Drews officiating.

Burial will be in Steenbergen Cemetery, Mount Pulaski.

Mr. Cooper was a livestock farmer at Mount Pulaski.

He served as a military policeman in the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1966.

He was born Jan. 2, 1943, in Lincoln to Vernon and Lucile Leimbach Cooper. He married Judith French in Mount Pulaski on March 20, 1965.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Jeffrey (and Julie) Cooper and Scott (and Tanya) Cooper; his mother; two sisters, Patricia (and John) Grathwohl and Kay (Larry) Cyrulik; one brother, Gary (and Pam) Cooper; and three grandsons, Jordan, Janson, and Evan Cooper, all of Mount Pulaski.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Mount Pulaski.

Memorials may be made to Mount Pulaski Zion Lutheran School.
