LCHS madrigal dinner

DETAILS: Step back in time and celebrate the season while enjoying theater and the music of times past as Lincoln Community High School Music Department presents “Ye Olde Madrigal Dinner.” Tickets may be purchased at the State Bank of Lincoln, 111 N. Sangamon St. branch, or call Kim Peterson-Quinn at 217-732-4131, ext. 232. Tickets for the Monday performance include dinner with roasted pork loin entree and pumpkin cake for dessert.

Christmas caroling at the carillon

Rees Carillon Society and the Carillon Belles

DETAILS: Gather around a roaring bonfire and sing Christmas carols from a souvenir songbook, accompanied by the beautiful music of the bells, followed by cookies and hot cocoa. Free. Handicapped-accessible. www.carillon-rees.org
